How will I know if you close due to weather?Weather happens! While we are largely graveled and do well at mud control, we are still an outdoor venue and may need to cancel if the weather is really bad. The decision to close will always be made before 5pm on the event day. If we do cancel, we will immediately post on our Facebook and Instagram social media platforms. We will also send out emails to the ticket purchasers. So just keep checking our social media platforms and your email!

What if there is a rainout? If Bat City Scaregrounds has to close due to weather and you pre-purchased online, you will be offered either (1) a full refund for your tickets OR (2) the option to use your ticket on any subsequent night that season (even if the cost for that night is more than what you paid). Also, note that many times special events are created during the season just for rainout transfers! Once the event is cancelled you will receive an email with all the options, including the option for a full refund. The email will go to the person who made the ticket transaction online. Please check your junk folder, as oftentimes it may be sent there.
